I couldn't pick one favorite. Variety is the spice of life. That's why pizza is my favorite food - it can go so many ways. Pepperoni is great and definitely on the short list but I haven't used it on my pizzas lately since I guess we got sick of it. I've been making bbq-chicken pizza and a veggie pizza for weeks (I make two pizzas every Friday). We're due for a change. Oh wait, last week I used some ground beef on the bbq pizza so that was sort of a change. This Friday I may do a ham and pineapple version.

ReplyDeletei'm mildly surprised by the squid, but only because i actually thought it would have been mayonnaise. yes, the japanese put mayonnaise on pizza. i witnessed this first hand when i was in tokyo.
ReplyDeletei have to agree with claire, mushrooms belong on my pizza. i like the combo of sausage and mushrooms best. my husband likes pineapple on pizza. how wrong is that? 17 kinds of wrong. i counted.
My favorite is fresh mozzarella and tomato with basil. But I also really enjoy tuna, which I was introduced to in Italy. It might sound gross, but it's so yummy!
ReplyDeletePaula, Your son (and husband) are so lucky-two Pizzas every Friday! YUM! I could live on pizza. Actually I do eat pizza at least twice a week for lunch and sometimes on the weekend. So I guess you could say I do!

Maltese Parakeet, Mayo on Pizza? I like mayo but come on. Actually the more I think about it, maybe it's not so bad. It's great on sandwiches and great for dips, so why not!

OOoo, so many choices! I have to narrow it down to three - pepperoni, bbq chicken, and a good white pizza. Yum!!
